Started in response to growing needs in our communities
A rising number of out-of-school children
Children outside the classroom are the clearest sign of a community left behind.
Daunting poverty with no means of livelihood
Mostly among women in developing nations.
A lack of standard development initiatives
Too little is in place to ease people's suffering.
Families and children at risk
From man-made disasters, economic downturns and natural catastrophes.
We help lead community-driven development and enable vulnerable community groups to join integrated activities that give them a quality livelihood and make them self-sustaining.
Volunteerism, put to work
Today ISCD delivers its activities through the power and spirit of volunteerism, building sustainable communities, intercultural exchange and thriving villages in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
Entrepreneurial development and empowerment
Skills and enterprise support for women and young people.
Advocacy on health and well-being
Including HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health.
Learning tools for school children
Books, pencils, rulers, drawing books, crayons, sandals and bags.
Awareness and rights
Gender and social inclusion, civic participation, and the rights of children, women and youth.
